Hey, mama friend! Are you a #momboss looking to collaborate with other blogs? Lottie & Me is now accepting guest posts! Check out the guidelines below to see if we’re a good fit for each other.
Contributor Guidelines
Lottie & Me is all about putting mother’s first, in all sense of the word. Topics we enjoy posting about include:
» Everyday mom life
» Postpartum depression
» Pregnancy loss and infertility
» Self-care and motivation
While parenting tips and hacks won’t instantly be disqualified, the focus will need to be on mama, not baby. Additionally, know that we do not publish any material that implies judgement on a mother’s parenting choices. At Lottie & Me we believe mama knows best, and our contributors need to believe that, too.
Pitches may be submitted to leahelizabeth@lottieandme.com with Pitch for Lottie & Me in the subject line. Drafts should be sent as a Google Doc. Please do not include your post in the body of the email.
Post Guidelines
We will handle all graphics unless you have a personal photo for inclusion that is pertinent to the post. If this is the case, please mention the photo in your initial pitch. Affiliate links will not be allowed. External links to reputable sites are allowed but will be subject to our approval.
Posts should be 1000 to 2000 words in length. We do not accept duplicate content, and contributors are prohibited from publishing the content elsewhere after publication on our site.
All contributors acknowledge that Lottie & Me has the right to edit and revise any content for grammar and syntax and to ensure that the post matches the tone and style of the site.
Lottie & Me reserves the right not to publish your content at our discretion. We understand that writing is precious and will notify you ASAP if, for any reason, we should decide not to publish a final draft so that you can find a better home for it.
After Publication
Please be sure to include a head shot and bio (up to 200 words) so we can promote you and your site! You are also welcome to include up to two links in your bio, either to your site, social media, or a landing page. We want to make sure you get the traffic you deserve for your work!
We will promote your post on all of our social media outlets (including Pinterest) and we expect that you will do the same.
Because we value community engagement at Lottie & Me, we ask that you check back often and respond to any comments left on your post.
